“Higher Than Down Here” tells the story of Theater, that is, the story of Man. An actor and a pianist accompany the audience together to an imaginary beginning of society, during the very first division of roles and trades: among ranchers, hunters and producers, how was art born? Where does he find his space? With “Higher Than Down Here” we reclaim the indispensable of theater: the contact between the actor and the audience. In fact, as in a ritual around the fire, the spectators regain the role of protagonists, called to participate in order to share their everyday life, made extraordinary by the voice, body and music improvisations of the two artists on stage.
